The Department of Medical Biochemistry has updated and moved its assay menu to the new platform ous.labfag.no.

Biological drug level determination with automated assays (TDM)

We have developed automated assays for the determination of patient serum levels of several commonly used biologicals/therapeutic antibodies. The assays are currently offered as routine assays by the Department of Medical Biochemistry at Oslo University Hospital, Radiumhospitalet. Assays for the following biologicals have so far been automated on the AutoDelfia immunoassay platform:

Routine assays (read more at Brukerhåndbok i medisinsk biokjemi OUS (labfag.no):

  • Abatacept (Orencia)
  • Adalimumab (Humira)
  • Canakinumab (Ilaris)
  • Certolizumab pegol (Cimzia)
  • Etanercept (Enbrel)
  • Golimumab (Simponi)
  • Infliximab (Remicade)
  • Secukinumab (Cosentyx)
  • Tocilizumab (RoActemra)
  • Ustekinumab (Stelara)
  • Vedolizumab (Entyvio)

Research assays only (please contact us for more information):

  • Atezolizumab (Tecentriq)
  • Iksekizumab (Taltz)
  • Ipilimumab (Yervoy)
  • Mepolizumab (Nucala)
  • Natalizumab (Tysabri)
  • Nivolumab (Opdivo)
  • Pembrolizumab (Keytruda)
  • Rituximab (MabThera)

Neutralizing patient antibodies, anti-drug antibodies (ADAbs), to infliximab, adalimumab and golimumab are also measured using automated assays.
